Why use an electric bike (advantages)?
Especially in daily use and on longer tours the e-bike shows its advantages. The daily commute does not end in a sweat bath, and a trailer for children is also much easier to pull.
How do I select an e-bike that suits me?
City E-Bike
City e-bikes are unbeatable everyday aids with which you can easily cover short or medium distances in and around the city. Whether it's a trip to work or school, a shopping trip or a leisure trip, you can enjoy it all regardless of rush hour or public timetables. Child seats, bike baskets or panniers travel neatly on the luggage rack. In general, city e-bikes are equipped in such a way that you can get through a traffic control without any problems. All the equipment required by the StVO is included. For ease of use, city bikes often have hub gears and therefore fewer gears, for the city and flat terrain with paved roads this is quite sufficient. E-MTB

Those who do not want or cannot manage the uphill ride themselves, but who do not want to use a shuttle service or a cable car either, can ride uphill on an e-mountain bike with electric assistance - now even downhill without any loss of riding pleasure. Modern engines decouple from 25 km/h, so the top speed only applies to the drive assistant, but not to the near-parabolic flight downhill. How fast you descend technically demanding trails through a shady mountain forest is entirely up to you and your courage.

How do I order?
Ordering from BESV is very easy. You simply follow the following steps:
Place the item in your shopping cart.
Check the order in the shopping basket and check the information. If something is wrong, you can change it in the shopping basket. You can delete an item or change the number that you want to order for a product.
If everything is correct then click on the payment button and follow the payment instructions. The order is placed with the completion of the payment instructions.

When will my e-bike be delivered?
We do our utmost to deliver the order as quickly as possible or on your preferred day. After receiving your order you will receive a message within two working days to schedule a delivery date. Delivery will then take place within 8 -10 working days after the Order, depening on the region you order from.
If we can no longer deliver the product you ordered, you can always choose from an alternative product or cancel the order immediately.

HOW LONG WILL MY BATTERY CARRY ME?
We cannot provide you detailed information about the battery reach as it depends on many different parameters (weight of the rider, terrain, tires, tire pressure, temperature etc.) As these factors are unknown to us, we can't give you a fact based information about it. For more information about the battery spec, please check the product detail page.
WHAT IS THE WEIGHT LIMIT OF THE Folding BIKES?
For folding E-bike, the total weight limit for a pure-bike is set at 95kg for an ebike. This weight includes the weight of the rider, bike and all equipment.

Difference between motor types front/mid/rear
Front motor (hub motor)
Front engines have become rare. They are almost only found on cheap e-bikes, as they also have a negative influence on steering behaviour and work inharmoniously.

Mid-mounted engine

How does the smart mode technology from BESV work?
Developed exclusively by BESV, Smart Mode calculates the level of assistance you need for optimal ride comfort, taking into account both riding conditions and your pedaling power, and intuitively and intelligently adjusts the power while you ride.Smart Mode utilizes advanced sensor technology and our proprietary Algorhythm software to automatically adjust power levels so that you always stay in the comfort zone—at an optimal torque of 25-45Nm.

Isn't the small wheel size of a folding bike a disadvantage?
No. The adjusted ratio range means that you can pedal just as comfortably and quickly as with a conventional bike. A small wheel is also lighter and more stable, and accelerates better.
Should I completely discharge my BESV battery before I charge it again?
No. You can charge your BESV battery at anytime. Your BESV battery is a lithium-ion battery cell, which has no memory effect. However, it is recommend that you keep your BESV battery as fully charged as possible at all times, in order to extend its lifespan.
Why won’t my BESV battery charge fully?
Generally speaking, the charging efficiency of a battery diminishes in conjunction with the battery’s lifespan. For example, after the battery has been charged more than 300 times, it can only be charged up to 80 percent. After 500 charges, it can only be charged up to 75 percent. And after 1,000 charges, it can only be charged up to 60 percent.
Can I ride in the rain on my E-bike?
Yes. You can use the system in the rain without any concerns. It is protected against rain and splashes, but not against riding through rivers when the motor is submerged in water.
